Please note the class schedule is modified periodically to address Member feedback, class popularity & participation level. Classes with low participation are subject to cancellation. If you enjoy a class, be part of its success by being consistent in your participation.

THE BELOW CLASSES ARE ALL INCLUDED WITH BAYLEY FITNESS CLUB MEMBERSHIP:

Aqua Array: Experience an array of teaching styles from our various instructors. Each week the instructors will take you through exercises designed to improve muscle strength, joint flexibility and range of motion.

Aqua Circuit: Intervals of cardiovascular work and strength training exercises using pool resistance equipment.

Arthritis Water: (Beginner/Intermediate) a mild, warm water exercise class for the purpose of relieving stiffness & joint pain and to improve joint flexibility, range of motion, and muscle strength.

Arthritis Harmony: (Beginner-Intermediate)a warm water exercise class for the purpose of relieving stiffness & joint pain associated with arthritis. This class includes singing! Bring your choir voice!

Arthritis Land: (Land) Seated and standing range of motion movements, along with strength, flexibility, and balance exercises to enhance functions of daily living. The exercises are designed to relieve stiffness and joint pain, to improve joint flexibility, range of motion, muscle strength and balance.

Body Bootcamp: A challenging workout for any fitness level to help maintain or increase muscular strength and endurance.

Cardio Circuit: A low-impact class, designed to tone muscles & improve cardiovascular health. A blend of strength training equipment is used to tone & strengthen muscles while keeping heart rate elevated w/ movement.

Core Balance: (Advanced) A challenging mix of core and balance exercises aimed to increase core strength and overall stability.

Everybody Can Dance: Bring your dancing shoes to Bayley’s open dance floor! Dancers of all levels are invited for Movement, Flow, and lots of fun!! Types of dance include line dancing, square dancing, and freestyle…….

“Game On” (Golf): Get your body and mind ready for golf season by trying this Get-Ready-for-Golf course. Muscle strengthening, putting drills and practice will keep you in shape for the spring season! Get your Game On!!

Seated Serenity: Sitting in a chair or standing using a chair for support, this class will allow you to practice balance, flexibility, strength, & relaxation through gentle exercises and meditative practices.

Shoulder/Knee Conditioning: Need some shoulder/knee help? If you have an old injury, limited range of motion, or you just want to keep your joints healthy, join us for shoulder and knee conditioning on Tuesdays. As a follow up to Fitness Specialist Jaychele’s Shoulder and Knee Classes, Fitness Specialist Janelle will lead exercises for continued jointhealth.

SilverSneakers Classic:ALL MEMBERS MAY ATTEND! Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.

SilverSneakers Yoga: ALL MEMBERS MAY ATTEND! SilverSneakers Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Stability Ball – This class uses the large therapeutic ball to help improve core strength, flexibility, balance, and posture. Exercise on the ball changes the angles and planes of motion to work more muscle groups, with more efficiency and great results.

Studio Cycling: Studio Cycling is a group exercise class done on stationary bikes in our Cycling Studio. During the class the instructor simulates a ride. Together, you travel on flat roads, climb hills, & sprint! It is truly a fantastic cardiovascular class! You control the resistance/intensity-it’s your ride!

Tai Chi for Arthritis (8 week class) –Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art that is gentle on the joints. Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention (Sun Style) promotes correct body posture, flexibility, muscular strength, and is suitable for almost anyone. This is an 8 week progressive course. (Class runs from January 19th through March 9th, 2017. Beginner review continued through April and May.

Tai Chi Continued – A continued practice of the Tai Chi for Arthritis class.

Total Body Workout: A collection of overall body movements including cardio, strength, relaxation, breathing, balance, and stretching.

Wednesday Walkers (Meet in Fitness Club Lobby): Walking is the simplest cardio workout; it's also the foundation for a healthy lifestyle. Join us as we walk to train for a 5K (3 mile walk) and improve our personal fitness! (Group will train outside-weather permitting)

THE FOLLOWING CLASS IS TAUGHT BY AN OUTSIDE INSTRUCTOR AND REQUIRES ADDITIONAL FEES FOR PARTICIPATION:

A Yoga Escape: Begin your week with a renewed spirit. This traditional yoga class is ideal for those wanting to increase their suppleness, strength, balance & coordination. Allow yourself to be guided through gentle & effective yoga poses, breathing practices & guided relaxation. Class fees apply to standard memberships, silver sneakers members & non-members and must be paid byMarch 24th for March. Walk-ins are also welcome. The following fees cover the month of May: Member $24 ($6/class) Non-Member $40($10/class) (minimum of 10 participants required)
