This is a list of scholarships that high school students can apply to. Students are encouraged to apply to as many scholarships that they qualify for with well put together applications. The scholarships here are always changing so be aware of dates, deadlines and check often. The scholarships listed here are not a comprehensive list so students and parents are encouraged to seek other scholarships. Other scholarships include new opportunities, post-secondary entrance awards and local community scholarships.

Amounts: LOTS & LOTS

Criteria:
  1. The current guidelines give priority funding to students from Keeseekoose First Nation who have newly graduated from High School and are planning to enter directly into a post-secondary program in the fall.
  2. Funding available for all students on a semester by semester basis
  3. See the application form for document requirements
  4. Students must apply for funding for every semester by the deadline

  1. Be Status Indian, non-status Indian, Métis or Inuit
  2. Be Saskatchewan residents for the past 12 months
  3. Have a satisfactory academic standing
  4. Registered in at least 12 credit hours per semester

Criteria:

a)Open to students who are graduating or have graduated from a Saskatchewan high school and are entering and/or continuing an undergraduate degree program at the University of Saskatchewan. In order to be eligible for an award, continuing students must have an academic average of at least 70% as determined by the Award Committee. Preference, if possible, may be given to students of Aboriginal ancestry
