Start program

Go to “start” -> “All Programs” -> “Engineering software” -> “Scitor Process” -> “Process” -> “Create New Processes” -> Click “OK”.

Modify Background

Right click on the field, then choose “Attributes”. Choose your favorite style and color.

Define Fonts

Double click “10 time” icon at the left window edge. -> Change font size to “14” and font style into “Arial”. -> Click OK.

Type characters

Left click at anywhere you want to typeand then type what you want to type.

Right click the text window -> “Attributes” -> “Color” -> “Foreground” -> Choose your favorite color.

Create box

Click “” icon in the tool box.

Click box icon. -> Click once on window where you want to put a box. You can choose other shapes and color boxes as listed in the tool bar.

Move a box

Click “” icon in the tool box.

Hold left click on the box and drag it.

Type characters in a box

Click “A” icon in the tool bar.

Left click in the box.

Modify the box

Right click in the box. Choose “Attributes”. A dialog box comes out. To change the box configuration (shape, color, gradation etc), choose either “Shape”, “Fill”, “Color”, ”Edge”, or “Shadow”. There is a plane style in the “Fill” pop up dialog box. This makes box be transparency.

Create an arrow between boxes

Click “” icon in the tool box.

Drag a box by holding left click. Then release holding.

Alternative arrow creation

Click “” icon in the tool box. Choose favorite arrow type. Left click at the starting point, then move a mouse and left click at another point, where you want to change arrow angle. At the end point, double click.

To draw the arrow between boxes, left click in the starting box, and move a mouse to the ending box. Then, four blue dots on the edge of the box will come out. Choose one you want to end the arrow.

Click “” icon in the tool box.

Note that arrows connected between boxes move together with the box. If you move a box, the attached arrow to this box also moves together. Moreover, by dragging start (end) of arrow, you can change the arrow start (end) location.

Combine boxes

Two or more boxes can be put at the same location. Now, we are trying to make boxes as follow.

Click “” icon in the tool box.

To do this, simply overlap (put) a box over another box. However the result of this operation will not work perfectly as shown in below.

The reason is that one box is covering another box. The invisible box is hidden by the visible box. So, we want to send this front box to the back. To do this, right click the box and go to “Move to Back”. Then the hidden box will come up.

Note that by choosing all boxes you want to move, these boxes are moved together. To choose multiple boxes, hold “Shift” key and left click boxes. Blue and green dots indicate that boxes are selected. Note that arrows connected to boxes are also moved together.

We can put box and font box together we well. Note that the box is modified with “Shadow”. See Modify the box

On/off grid

Click “” icon in the tool box.

Click the grid icon, . When gird is on, objects move boxy. If you want to move just a little bit, you should off the grid so that you can smoothly move the object.

Alignment

Click “” icon in the tool box.

Hold “Shit” key and select objects. Right lick and go to “Alignment”. If you align objects horizontally, choose either “Middles”, “Tops”, or “Bottoms”. If you align objects vertically, choose either “Centers”, “Lefts”, or “Rights”.

Insert pictures

To insert objects, go to “Insert” in the menu bar, and go to “Object”. Choose “Create from File”. Click “Browse”, and then select pictures you want to insert.

To change the size of the inserted pictures, hold dot on the edge of the picture and drag to be smaller.

Insert equations

To insert equations, simply choose “Microsoft Equation 3.0”. Notice that the equation window comes up at the left upper corner of the window.
