Race around the Famous “7 Mile Bend”, from the 1st Chunky River Landing then ends at the Chunky Shoals Fish Camp. The float from the Chunky Landing is approximately 3 miles. Depending on the paddler and water levels, total time on the water averages between 1-3 hours.

Check box to volunteer to support “Don’t be mean to the GREEN, keep the River CLEAN. We will plan a float on the River to pick up trash. Canoes will be provided for all volunteers.

- Each Crew Member must sign the attached Waiver of Liability and Release form prior to participation in the event. Parents/Legal Guardians must sign for participants under the age of eighteen.
Waiver of Liability and Release
In consideration of you accepting this registration, I the undersigned to be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors administrators, and representatives waive and release any and all rights, claims and obligations of any kind for any damages of any kind that I may have against Chunky River Brothers, LLC and any and all sponsors, partners, volunteer organizers of this event, their successors, representatives and assigns, for any and all losses suffered while traveling to and from, and while in anyway involving this event.
I also waive any rights of subrogation by any party. Lastly I will hold harmless Chunky River Brothers, LLC, sponsors, partners, and volunteers harmless from any damages that I may have contributed to in any way.
I grant full permission in perpetuity to the organizers of this event to use, re-use, publish and re-publish my name and image as a participant in the event in photographs, video or other recordings.

General Rules and Regulation for all Participants
Chunky River Brothers and its affiliates retain the right to disqualify any individual or team not complying with the Rules and Regulations at any time without refunding any entry fees.
- Race around the Famous “7 Mile Bend”, from the 1st Chunky River Landing, ends at the Chunky Shoals Fish Camp. Rafts will end at the Boat Ramp adjacent to Fish Camp.
- All vessels must display Registration number either on their vessel or on Captains person at all times during race.
- All participants must have a Coast Guard approved life jacket in their possession
- All participants must abide all State Waterway laws and regulations.
- Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- NO GLASS containers will be allowed on ANY vessel.
- Absence from the event will NOT be grounds for a refund of Entry Fee.
- The only access to and from the river is at the designated landings.
- Rafts must have minimum of 2 persons on raft.
- All 2+ person rafts are eligible for the Race (including inflatables)
- Canoe can have 1, 2, or 3 person, must use canoe paddles (Not Kayak)
- Kayak can be 1 or 2 person and must use double bladed kayak paddle
- Self-propelled, using only man power (No motors or sails are allowed).
- All rafts must have an anchor and a 15’ rope and 30’ of tow line secured to the raft at all times.
- Transportation is NOT provided for participants or crafts to or from entry points.
- All participants must provide own vessel and transportation.
- DO NOT wait until the last minute to register and unload your craft. This is important to keep the launch on schedule.
- Leave no trace. Absolutely no littering! There is free trash removal provided by Chunky Shoals Fish Camp. Please take advantage of this or pack out what you packed in.
- (NO LITTERING WILL BE TOLERATED).
Manmade Raft Construction Rules
- Rafts must be homemade to be eligible for the “Most Creative” Trophy.
- “Most Creative Raft” Judging will be between 9:00 – 10:00amprior to start of race, (while they are in one piece!).
- All sharp edges must be covered or folded over.
- No glass can be used in the construction of the rafts.
- All rafts must contain NO harmful or poisonous products or contaminants. The point is to promote green and clean river fun with out polluting in the process.
- The crew must be able to carry the raft from the river to their vehicle at the conclusion of the race. All crew members who are required to carry the vessel, must ride on the vessel.
- At the conclusion of the race, all rafts, and all pieces of rafts, must be removed immediately from the river and loaded into a trailer or vehicle capable of safely transporting the raft away from the festival location. Rafts and vehicles must be moved to an acceptable parking area following the race.
