Friends of the Braselton-West Jackson LibraryAnnounce Kick-Off of Logo Design Contest
Since our inception in 2003, Friends of the Braselton-West Jackson Library has used a number of different design images on its promotional material. Our board has decided that it would like to have a single logo that will be uniquely associated with Friends of the Braselton-West Jackson Library. The board announced that it is sponsoring a contest to design thelogo for Friends of the Braselton-West Jackson Library. The contest is open to anyone who would like to participate, with no limitation on the age of the participant. There is no fee to enter and no limitation on the number of entries that can be submitted. The finalists will be displayed on the web page of Friends of the Braselton-West Jackson Library. The winner of the contest will receive a Kindle Fire HD, which will be presented when the winner is announced and the new logo unveiled at the organization’s Lunch & Learn Program on September 11, 2013.
LOGO GUIDELINES:
We are seeking a graphically pleasing image that best depicts our mission of promoting the Braselton Library,raising funds for needed materials for the library and for adult and children programs at the library. The artwork must be original or clip art that can be registered. The image will be used on banners, newsletters, tote bags, t-shirts and other promotional materials.
USE COLORS:
A maximum of four colors may be used in the design, INCLUDING BLACK AND WHITE (our organization’s colors are royal blue and white, but the design does not have to incorporate these colors).The image must reproduce well in black and white and in small sizes. Submissions may be sent electronically (the preferred method) or by mail. Electronic submissions must be in PDF or JPG format and meet the following requirements:
COLOR: • Provide all color graphics as CMYK. Other color processes (RGB, Pantone, etc.) should be converted to CMYK
• All black should be 100% black. No process color black type
GRAPHICS: • All images should be provided at 200 dpi in the appropriate color model and format.

All entries, images and artwork become the exclusive property of Friends of the Braselton-West Jackson Library, Inc., a Georgia non-profit corporation. We reserve the right to reject any and all entries and to request reasonable, minor design modifications from the proposed winner or to utilize another firm to make design modifications to the winning entry.
