Projects:

  • Haiti Hospital Project CSUN, (September 2013 – May 2014)

Designed a one story medical clinic to be constructed out of concrete and CMU walls with steel reinforcement

Design included a concrete roof slab, CMU walls designed with steel rebar able to withstand lateral designs based on wind and earthquake load, lintel design and foundation design

Designed in a competitive setting in which the winning design would donated in order to be built for local residents of Haiti.

  • One Story- Single Family Dwelling Timber House Design(CSUN, September 2013 – May 2014)

Designed a one story house made of Douglas Fir.

Designed flexural aspects of the house including: roof rafters, hip beams, ceiling joists, headers, and studs.

Completed Lateral Design with respect to earthquake and wind loads and determined the seismic base shear.

Designed an adequate foundation to support the entire structure

  • Agoura Hills Hydrology Land Development Project, (CSUN, Jan 2014- May 2014)

In a group of four, collectively developed a 10 acre lot of land located in Agoura Hills

Proposed site was planned for the development of a fully functional and profitable fitness center.

Land development included grading, existing and proposed site plan complete with drainage system.

Drainage system was designed in conjunction with LID specifications.

Fitness Center proposal was presented in a formal presentation via PowerPoint presentation.

  • Reinforced Concrete/ Steel Structure Design projects, (CSUN, Jan 20- November 2014)

Collaboratively designed two-four story office buildings (Once concrete, one steel) in a team of three members.

Ran all the necessary test calculations in RAM.

Prepared a detailed written report of the results.

  • Johnson Residence Construction Project, CSUN, (January 2013 – May 2013)

Commanded a team of five members in the construction of a residential area.

Optimized the construction requirements.

Planned and scheduled an appropriate timeline for the construction of the house project.

Proposed innovative ideas and cost effective methods to construct the residence in an efficient matter.

Presented our proposed bidding via PowerPoint presentation.

  • Land Surveying Project- Project Manager, (CSUN, January 2013 – May 2013)
