She will order plaques for the car show and not have them dated so we can use the left over ones next year. Door prizes were also collected for the Cruisin Dave drawings. If you forgot yours – bring them with you to the swap meet. If you have not completed your worker sign in sheet – get it in soon for best shifts. Tom Kay is out of town and so no one knows what the worker assignments are yet. Gary Canady reported that the food permits are issued and that the Pontiac Club will set up a Satellite Pop Booth. We will need volunteers to work the Pop booth. The car show will have two categories: judged ($20 be there at 8 am) and not judged ($5 no specific arrival time ).

Old Business: None

New Business:

Lots of discussion about how do we get clubs to renew their membership.

The board of directors is working on a mission statement and we need to do a better job of explaining this to the clubs.

The board of directors is suggesting that we change the meeting to bi-monthly. Also that we have a written agenda published on the web site prior to the meeting so everyone will know what we are talking about and able to vote on issues in a timely manner. In the off month the board would have a board meeting and would publish the minutes of that meeting to the membership. This discussion was tabled until the Sept meeting.

Roger Zaner reported that the taxes are done for 2005. We paid nothing in Federal Taxes and only $5 in State Taxes for 2005. Also, no penalty because the extension was filed for in time.

A motion to adjourn was made at 8:41 pm.

Announcements:

The next OCCC meeting will be held at the St Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs (825 E. Pikes Peak Ave.) on Wed, Sept 6, at 7:30 pm.
