Travel

Please see the following map for details on how to find Saveock Water Archaeology.

Wet Weather Programme

During the course of the excavation week, we may lose digging days due to severe wet weather.

We do however provide gazebos to cover the excavators if the sun is too hot or there is more than

a light shower of rain. In windy conditions this type of shelter is inadequate and we will then do

post excavation work in one of our workshops for the day.

Health and Safety

As health and safety is of primary concern on any excavation, you will be required to read our

health and safely policy on arrival at the site. It is advised that all excavators are inoculated against

tetanus. If for any reason you do not wish to do this, we will ask you to sign a waiver for insurance

purposes.
