On Thursday, September 22, 2016 theHartford, VT Public Works Department will host the New England Chapter's 2016Fall Mechanics Workshop. This workshop will provide valuable information regarding the following:

Lubrication Technologies

  • SpeakerDave Piangerelli

Covering new technology of oils/greases, on board lubrication systems and on board scale systems.

329 Marketing Inc.

  • Speaker Marc Sheehy, Lighting Specialist

Covering latest technology in vehicle and equipment emergency lighting from Code 3, Westin etc.

Atlantic Plow Blades

  • Speaker Matt Kiley

Covering Polar-Flex blade systems and other winter maintenance technologies

As in our past Mechanics Workshops, your staff will receive training that will assist you in improving your fleet operations and equipment repair.

We hope you can take this opportunity to meet the training needs of your employees at a reasonable cost to your community. The agenda for the program is provided below. The facility requires that registration be limited to 50 people, on a first come, first served basis, so please register early. Late requests will be placed on a waiting list.

7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. – Registration, coffee & pastries

8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Program, Lunch and Break

Registration Fee: $65.00 per person includes registration, coffee break and lunch.

Registration deadline is Friday, September 16, 2016 but may fill up before then. Please, no more than three (3) persons per agency, and register using the attached registration form.

Anyone with a special requst should notify Tom Collins ahead of time at.

Due to the limited seating at this facility, advance registration is required, and will be limited to the first 50 registrants. Please no more than three (3) people per agency. Registration deadline is September 16, and all reservations not cancelled before September 16, MUST BE PAID FOR. Cancellations after the meeting registration deadline will not be refunded due to the Chapter’s financial commitment.
