Three years on!
Dunmurry Dental Practice is now open over three years and has grown considerably over that time to three surgeries caring for over 4000 patients, and we would like to thank all our current patients for making it the success it is.
Staff update
Staff now includes:
The Principal Dentist and Owner, Philip McLorinan BDS; two associate Dentists, Tracey Campbell BDS and Laura McLaughlin BDS. Four dental nurses (Joanne, Denise, Teresa and Pamela), tworeceptionists (Cathy and Sharon) and two part-time Dental Hygienists (Maria and Paula).
The Practice has recently received awards as winner of the ‘Belfast City Best New Business 2006” and “Lisburn City Business Growth 2007” in the respective council business awards.
What happened the Summer? At least we have something to smile about!
QWhat does tooth whitening do?
Tooth whitening can be a highly effective, yet very simple way, of lightening the colour of teeth without removing any of the tooth surface. It cannot make a colour change, but lightens the existing colour.
QWhen might whitening not work?
Whitening can only lighten your existing tooth colour. To change to a specific chosen shade veneering is another option. Whitening also works on natural teeth. It will not work on any type of 'false’ teeth. This includes dentures, crowns and veneers. If dentures are stained or discoloured, it may be worth visiting the dentist and asking him or her to clean them. Stained veneers, crowns and dentures may need replacing.
Q How much does it cost?
At present a simple case of at home tray whitening for both upper and lower teeth is currently available for £195.00.
