The Third Alaunian War (3 of 4)
Scene 1
Nevar’s castle, deep in the forest, Alaunus, 09:00 GMT
Nevar:(Swivels his finger in a bowl similar to that in Erina’s chamber and sees the battle between the two sides of the island) this could play to my advantage (he injects himself with something, before getting up and pointing for two demons to leave, then laughing evilly)
Scene 2
Battle-ground, Alaunus, 09:12 GMT
Bodies are already scattered over the ground from the fighting, but it continues.
Felicia:Tueri eum (her husband is protected by a force-field, which deflects an attack, she is attacked by another woman)Tueri me (she is protected by a force-field, but it drops the shield protecting her husband, and he is soon killed by the science-side forces, in despair she drops her force-field and is killed, Simon from the science-side holds up a bin lid as a shield from on-coming attacks, whilst firing a gun with the other hand, a man from the magic side stands near)
Lional:Metalli desolati (the metal of the shield and the gun melt around Simon’s hands, he screams in agony) extermino (Simon is set alight and is turned to ash)
Galat:Tenere hostes retro (he creates a shield which separates the two sides) if we keep fighting like this, we’ll all die, what are we fighting for (explosives are hurled over the shield) right right. Repellendum (the shield proceeds towards the science side, and begins exterminating everyone caught in it a rocket lands in his location and explodes, killing him, the shield drops and the fighting continues)

The castle 09:24
Raven watches the ensuing battle
<Raven>:I hoped it wouldn’t come to this, that we could solve the murders before war broke out, but I have failed, I must act or hundreds of lives will be lost. (Revianna and Herloc enter the castle)
Revianna:You wanted to see us, Raven?
Raven:Join the battle warriors, see if you can save some lives (the warriors leave) be careful. (He sighs)
<Raven>:I do not like standing on the side-lines whilst a battle ensnares hundreds, but with the war, and the Queen down, Nevar will most undoubtedly make his move, and I must be here to protect her, besides the only way to stop this war is to find those responsible, and for that I need the Raven’s eye (he lifts the cloth off the Raven’s eye) I must see what happened in that room, there must be something that will lead me to the true culprit to all this. (He swivels his fingers in the Raven’s eye)
Erina:Calm yourselves gentlemen, this is a serious issue we are discussing
Octavia:And we’re going no further because Rufus refuses to negotiate
Rufus:Hark who’s talking.
Unknown:Occidere (a blast kills Octavia)
Erina:What? (A blast kills Rufus, before Erina clutches her chest in pain and falls unconscious, two unknown men, one holding a wand, the other a gun stand by each other and merge into one being before disappearing.)
<Raven>:Two men become one, one man must become two, this is not mere magic, it reminds me of Clayface back in July, when… And what of Erina, the doctor believes it was an attack, no mere heart attack (he replays the point after the blast kills Rufus, and sees a small red beam hit Erina in the chest) the same beam that caused the explosion. Our culprit is clever, and I still have nothing to deduce his identity
Scene 3
Arron’s mind
Bane:I will break you (he grabs Arron hands with one hand, and his legs with the other, lifts him up and attempts to smash him against the knee)
Arron:You forgot everything in the flashback, my spine is reinforced, remember? (He disappears and multiple selves surround Bane, two kick the backs of his knees, forcing him to the ground, before several Arron’s deliver the upper-cut) you know I should’ve worked it out sooner. Mind-control was Psimon’s game, never mind-attack, that’s more a Joman thing, but it’s mood influencing too, that’s something I’d expect from Gorilla Grodd, 3 Super-villain motives, only one truth, I know who you are now, Galivagar, so your do yourself a favour and remove that disguise. (Psimon becomes Galivagar)
Galivagar:Most impressive you found me so quickly
Arron:I knew I’d see you again, the council made it so simple for you to escape, of course that’s not what you did, you’re working with them like you always did
Galivagar:I don’t know what you did to make them hate you so much, but… All the better for me that they do. (He tries to use heat vision but cannot)
Arron:You just don’t get what invading a mind is. You don’t control what happens in my mind, I do. I’ve learned a control technique which means you can’t use powers unless I will that you do, you’ve had it your way for some time, but face it; those memories are making me stronger. (He jumps up to Galivagar’s location) you’re no longer influencing anything I do (multiple Arrons surround him) now (as multiple Arrons punch Galivagar) get out of my head! (Galivagar falls to the ground) lights out (Arron punches him unconscious)

Arron awakens from meditation
Arron:So Galivagar was influencing me the whole time, but was that all he was doing? (He falls to the ground)
<Arron>:Feel weak, been fighting internally for over 12 hours, it’s exhausting;still, glad I managed to spread some cameras around Alaunus.
Arron:Computer, split screen footage cameras 21-45, past 17 hours (several camera shots are shown, within seconds camera 32 screen shows the explosion) back up camera 32 (the video from camera 32 rewinds) slow motion (the footage plays, showing the single laser point, creating the explosion) I might’ve known, heat vision, guess I’m gonna need a different body armour, maybe the mk 6.
Scene 4
Queen’s Chamber, Alaunus, 12th November 09:45 GMT
Demons are beginning to crowd the chamber, Raven has his staff ready
Raven:Demons, if you wish to get to Erina, you will have to go through me (he has his staff charged and ready to fire, but the demons have him vastly outnumbered)
<Raven>:If I die, the queen dies, at least we die together. (The demons fall from a source from behind, Arron jumps over the last demons and in the process, bangs their heads together knocking them out, he plants 3 devices in the door-way, which create a force-field)
Arron:That should keep them out for a while. I realise I still owe you another 9 hours of field-work.
Raven:You should not be here.
Arron:You’re welcome (he lays eyes upon Erina) what happened to her?
Raven:I am not sure, a red sort of beam hit her in the chest
Arron:Heat-vision (He gets out a spray and sprays it on Erina’s chest) that should easy the heat-burn, help her recovery, she should be alright.
Raven:You would not be here if you did not have information
Arron:I know who’s behind all this. I had cameras tracking things around the island while I was facing my inner battles. I saw the heat-vision explosion. The perpetrator’s name is Galivagar, he can duplicate any meta-human, alien or magical ability and use it as he sees fit; he’s a council agent, probably the last one on earth now. Oh and he hates me, a lot. Figured he must’ve copied a few new powers since we last me, heroes, villains, psychopaths, doesn’t matter to him.
Raven:I thought I saw someone with an ability similar to that of Clayface
Arron:It’s him, and I saw the two military generals from science and magic side pull off the same trick, which means Alaunus is being controlled from every conceivable angle. (The generators are destroyed, Nevar enters the room)
Raven:My first priority is protecting Erina, hold him back
Arron:Oh I can do better than that (he goes in to punch Nevar, but Nevar catches the punch, and breaks his wrist) you did not just (he manages to put his wrist in roughly the right place) you’re stronger than I remember, but that’s hardly surprising, given the level of crap in your body right now, what steroid have you been injecting yourself with? (Nevar punches Arron back he lands on a table) just once I’d like to land on something soft (he throws smoke grenades creating a screen, but Nevar sees through the smoke with filters in his mask and holds Arron up by the neck)
Nevar:Suffer, you will suffer
Arron:Hardly, you’re right where I wanted you. (He grabs Nevar’s arm, and electrocutes it with his gloves, Nevar releases him) OK, get out and stay out (he kicks Nevar in the Stomach and out of the window) he’ll survive that fall; he’ll be back with a bigger army. I’m going to put a stop to this war, and then I’m gonna make sure Galivagar doesn’t live to threaten anyone else. You with me?
Raven:Let the challenge begin.
