Proposals will be accepted for:
Presentations- Team or individual proposals are accepted. Workshop sessions will run approximately 50 minutes allowing for in-depth presentation and Q&A.
Panels - Panel discussions will be considered. They may be organized and submitted as a group by a panel coordinator, or an individual may submit their particular viewpoint to become part of a panel.
Interactive Demonstrations–Workshopsessions featuring real world scenarios and advanced techniques are encouraged.
Presentation Guidelines:
Content– The Technology Summit seeks to educate its audience and not promote any specific products. Exhibit space is available for any promotional activity. Only presentations that are product-neutral and related to corrections technology will be considered. Presentation selections will be made based upon desired topics, flow of content, educational value and understanding of the content.
Agenda Schedule – The conference organizers will set the day and time for each presentation, in order to optimize the sequencing and flow of content and topics. Workshop sessions will end no later than 5:00 pm each day. CTA will notify all selected presenters by March 2016.
Speaker Guidelines:
Presenters MUST register for the summit. All speakers and practitioners will pay a registration fee.
The Corrections Technology Association does not pay an honorarium or travel expenses to its speakers.
If the presenter is not employed by a state, federal or local agency;the presenter and his/her company MUST beregistered as a Business Partner.
During the presentation, business partners may indicate they have a booth in the exhibit hall; however, under no circumstances are specific products and/or services allowed to be promoted in the workshop session.
Each workshop session room will be equipped with a laptop, LCD projector and screen.
CTA MUST receive an electronic copy of the presentation for publication on the Association’s website.
