A Report of celebration of 65th Republic Day-26th January,2014
Dr. JivrajMheta Institute of Technology celebrated the 65th Republic Day with patriotic sprit.Thewhole program was conducted in Hindi language as it is the national festival and national language should be given priority.Theprogram started in the large play ground of the institute at 8.45 a.m. with vandematram. Then chairman sir shri. NarendraShrimali Sir hoisted the flag,the national enthum and other patritic songs were played. The atmosphere was found so patrioticThe students Rahil and Rushil shared their views on the importance of the flag and future of our country by their speech. The group song ‘ sarejaha se achha’was sung with zeal and spirit by Jalaj,Pinkesh,Chetan and Amit .Principal madam Dr. ArchnaNanotygave a thought provoking speech on the national occasion which included to know about our duties roles and responsibilities as the maker of the future of the students and shared a wonderful story of an elephant and six blind men and explained how to respect others’ views and work in collaboration.The chairmanSriNarendraSrimali Sir gave a speech on the rights and duties of an Indian citizen and discussed that the awareness regarding constitution should be raised so that even the common man can get knowledge about his rights and duties towards the nation. This was the day when the DJMITManagement and institute took an initiative to honor the students who have achieved Excellency in sports.so Mr.HimalayaChaya from Civil for NCC, Ms.PratimaPimplegaunkar from EC for Karate,Mr.JimishNaik from Civil for Table Tennis, Mr.Jay Patel from Mechanical for football were given awards and certificates by the chairman sir and Principal Madam.The whole program was prepared ,conducted by the team comprising of Admin, purchase, HOD-Computer Mr. Arpit Mehta and Mr. Hitesh Waghel, Asst. Prof. CSEand Anchoring done by HOD Humanities Ms.Kajal B Rao under the guidance of Principal Madam.
