Breeze Lecture with PowerPoint

Microphone set up – yes, you need one! When ready, open up your PowerPoint presentation and then click the Breeze tab located in the file menu above and then select record audio. A box will pop up where you can test you microphone audio level. After you have tested your microphone, select “record” and start your lecture. When finished with your lecture for each slide, click stop and then select the forward button to move to the next slide. Continue this process until you have finished your slides and recording. After completing all of your slides and audio, you are ready to publish your presentation to the Breeze server!

Publishing Breeze Presentation

When you are finished with your lecture click the Breeze tab and select “Publish” – A general rule is to publish to a folder specifically named for Breeze presentations (on your desktop). If you are having any issues viewing the file after you have published your lecture, you might need a flash or shockwave plug-in, which are located in the links below. Once your file is ready, log into Breeze Manager, again the link is provided below. After login in, select home and then new content. Here you can name and set a custom URL for your content. A general rule here is to save it according to your course and lecture. Using a date here might prevent later use. Select “save” when you are done. The information on the next screen is where your presentation is now located and ready for use! To view your presentation, type the content URL into your browser and that’s it! Your presentation is ready for use!

Viewing and Managing file

Once your file has been uploaded you can view stats on the course, send email invites and change the file properties. Log into Breeze server and select “content”, from there your options are available. This is a convenient tool for me because I like to see who have viewed each session. Be sure to take some time getting familiar with these options.
