Voting Procedures – JeffHarris
-Members of the Association are the Clubs. Each Club will provide in advance an Accredited Delegate form indicating which person will represent that club for voting. Clubs must pass a vote on who their accredited delegates are.
-Show of hands vs poll vote – show of hands counts each vote (club) as one whereas the poll vote counts how many members each club that is voting has (proportionate representation)
-Elections and other important votes will be poll votes
-How to call a poll vote? At least ten Clubs must agree for a poll vote to take place.
-What if a club does not have a member attending a conference? They can indicate a proxy voter from another club on their Accredited Delegate form.
