Welcome back! We hope everyone is having a great summer. We are sending this newsletter to remind everyone of a couple items as many of you are coming to your island retreat.
q All golf cars are to have your lot number on them in large letters.
The first time you’re stopped it’s a warning. The second time you will have to remove the golf car from the park.
q Anyone driving a golf car must be 16 or be 15 with a learner’s permit
and driving with a parent.
q The keys to the boat ramp are $50.00. Any tenant using the boat ramp must have a key. If you allow ANYONE, including a tenant to use your key, or you open the gate for them, you will have to return your key and loose your right to use the ramp along your deposit. The gates are to remain closed at all times.
q Fireworks of any kind are prohibited from the park. Some of you are aware that fireworks caused a small fire at a mobile home last year.
q This 4th of July we will again have the assistance from several tenants in the park, helping with any problems that may arise. Thanks in advance.
q Scooters, mopeds, etc whether gas or electric are not allowed in the park.
q Many of you have friends in neighboring parks. Please make them aware that they are more than welcome to visit, but not by golf car, moped, scooter etc. They need to come by bike, walk or by car. There has been just too much activity with many golf cars coming in from other parks and causing problems.
q Remember that boats or jet ski’s cannot be left or stored in your mobile home yard. If you leave a jet ski or boat in your yard you will receive a call and have to remove it immediately. The utility companies along with the fire department need to have room to get between the homes to serve you.
The majority of the tenants are complying with the golf cart rules, the boat ramp staying closed, and storage, which we are sincerely thankful! So many of you are improving your home and the park continues to improve year after year – THANK YOU!
Please mark your calendars for September 17, 2005 for the park picnic. We hope everyone has a safe and happy July 4.
