Lifeboat to launch en francais!

For immediate release – September 16, 2005

(Powell River, Canada) – Tugboat Enterprises is launching the French version of their successful data rescue software Lifeboat, with a French website and help documents.

“With sales rising in Europe, North Africa and Quebec we are pleased to sell to customers in their preferred language. We had significant requests for other languages, and French is the first among many,” remarked CEO Judi Tyabji Wilson.

The launching of a French language version of Lifeboat and the accompanying site and documents are Tugboat’s first move to recognize the diverse needs of the international market. The language series slated to roll out in the fall of 2005 will also see the release of Lifeboat data rescue in German, Spanish and Japanese.

“It is often assumed by North American software producers that everybody will be able to read English,” noted Chief Technology Officer Jonathan Lyster, “which is clearly not the case. We are striving to make our program as simple to use as possible and that starts with being able to read the instructions in the language of choice.”

Tugboat Enterprises Ltd launched Lifeboat on line in May of 2005. Since then Lifeboat sales have steadily grown as it becomes a preferred method of data recovery and file transfer. Lifeboat is receiving very favorable reviews from independent assessors and customers.

Lifeboat is the first of four new products being launched by the high tech start-up company Tugboat Enterprises, out of Canada.
