Those who intend to present a paper at the 82nd IUVSTA Workshop on Plasma-based Atomic Layer Processes ( are invited to submit an electronic version (preferably a PDF file) of a one or two page extended abstract to the Organizing Committee of the Workshop by uploadong it through the symposium web site given above. If you have any probem in uploading your abstract through the web site or any question, please feel free to contact the organizing committee at .

The extended abstract should be written in English on an A-4 size (21 cm x 29.7 cm) paper. Itmust be limited to a maximum of 2 A4 pages, inclusive of any diagrams or illustrations required. Make 2.5-cm space on the top, the bottom and the both sides, respectively. Text type should be 12 point Times or quivalent. Symbol font may be used. Text should be single-spaced.

All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed and judged by the Program Committee. Notification of acceptance will be sent to the corresponding authorvia email by the date specified in the web site. Accepted papers will be considered either for oral or poster presentations. Please note that all accepted abstracts will be uploaded in the web site as a Book of Abstracts and avaible to the general public.

Additional information on therequestedformat for an extended abstract is given below.

The extended abstract should include the title, authors' names, affiliations' names, postal addresses and an email address of the corresponding author.

Start the text about three lines below the affliation information. First line of all paragraphs should be indented. Line breaks may be inserted between paragraphs.

Page numbers should NOT be printed in extended abstracts. Pages will be numbered consecutively in the Book of Abstracts.

Figures and tables may appear printed directly in the text. A caption should be provided for each figure. Figures are referred to the text and should be numbered consecutively throughout the paper by Arabic numerals (Fig. 1, Figs. 1-5). Make sure lettering is proportional to the figure. Each table should have a descriptive title.

References must be identified by Arabic numerals (e.g. 1, 2 etc.) numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text (between square brackets) [1] and listed at the end of the abstract, as in the following examples.
