RCSD Summer Job 2017

RE: Required Information for Student Hiring Process

Dear students and parents,

You will receive a phone call notifying you if you have been accepted as a candidate for a summer job position. All students who are accepted for a position with the RCSD summer jobs program will be required to attend a MANDATORYJOB ORIENTATION taking place Saturday, June 10that Central Office, 131 West Broad Street. You will be contacted by HCI with a specific time and location.

When you attend this session, you must bring with you the following:

  • Original work permit for candidates younger than 18
  • Social Security Card OR Birth Certificate
  • Official photo ID (it can be a passport, school ID or DMV driver/non-driver ID)

As well, some of the supervisors will be requiring prior interviews, and these will be scheduled June 5th, 6th and 7th, with preference given to evening times. You will receive a phone call if you are selected for an interview.

Additional information:

  • Pay rate is $9.70 /hr.
  • Everyone must begin work according to the dates/times the department you are working for specified (Start date for most positions is July 5th)

Department specific interviews will be taking place June 5th, 6th and 7th (you will be contacted by phone for a specific date, time and place by department managers.

Hiring orientation: Saturday, June 10th at Central Office, 131 West Broad St.

Work begins: July 5th for most positions (some are July 10th)
