Hello Parents and Students,
As you can see, we begin our after school rehearsals in February. These rehearsals are crucial because it allows us to rehearse entire parts of the show in sequence. It is very important that students attend these rehearsals. I understand there may be conflicts after school. Please let me know if this is the case and we will do our best to work something out, but we will be expecting students at these rehearsals. Because of the time constraints we are under, if a student has to miss an after school rehearsal, they risk not being blocked in that song. We will do our best to feature everyone, but as I said, attending these rehearsals is important.
For our after school rehearsals, parents will be required to sign out their students at the end of rehearsal. If you are having another parent bring your student home from rehearsal, please send in a note with the student to give to me. This is district policy, so please be prepared for this when picking up for after school rehearsals. Rehearsals after school WILL REMAIN THE SAME REGARDLESS OF CYCLE DAY. If there is a snow day, the after school rehearsals will not shift, they will remain on the assigned day. This is when the schedule gets confusing, so it is important that you sign up for the text message service if you have not already. In the event of a snow day, I will send out a text when the updated schedule is posted to my website. It is important that you check these updates so that the students do not miss rehearsal.
