Stevenson High School
Stevenson is a smoke free campus, and smoking is prohibited anywhere on school grounds.
Sportsmanship
Students, athletes, spectators and all other persons directly or indirectly connected to your school shall practice and promote the highest principles of sportsmanship and the ethics of competition in all aspects of the event.
Registration
All teams must enter the building through the Team Entrance door in Lot B (off Route 22). Upon registration a Spirit Revolution member will escort the team to their locker room assignment.
Registration begins at 7 am.
Session 1(Junior High, Small JV, Large JV) teams must be checked in by 8 am.
Session 2 (Varsity) teams must be checked in by 10 am.
Coaches may not register teams without all members present.
All team members will receive a wristband that must be worn throughout the day.
Only two coaches will receive a wristband per team.
Any team not registered by their designated time will be dropped.
Coaches’ Information
There will not be an official coaches’ meeting prior to the competition.Officials will be available for questions prior to each session in the Faculty Dining room from 8:15-8:30 for Session 1 coaches and from 11:30-11:45 for Session 2 coaches.
Music check will only be available from 8:00-8:30am and during the break between sessions.
The Fieldhouse is the warm up area, and the Sports Center is the performance gym.
There will be a trainer available in the Fieldhouse during warm ups and another trainer located in the Trainer’s Room near the Sports Center. Please bring your own supplies if you have an athlete that you know will need to be taped. If there is an injury, please report to the trainer immediately!
New** A photographer will be available to shoot action shots of your team. Roughly 300 digital images will be taken of your team’s routine for $30. Information will be send out upon competition registration.
NEW** There will be a video pass available for $10. Videoing will be confined to a specific space on both sides of the gym. Anyone found videoing without a pass will be charged $20.
DVD’s of the entire competition will be available for purchase via a preorder and the day of the event.
Exit packets and score sheets will only be given out once the locker room check out sheet has been signed by a Spirit Revolution adult representative. Exit packets can be picked up at the conclusion of the awards ceremony at the registration station, where you checked in.
Parking
Busses should drop off teams in Lot B. After dropping off teams drivers will be directed to park in the Port Clinton Lot. This is the only place for buses to park.
Spectators should park in lots A,C,D and E. Lot B is reserved for workers and officials.
There will be parking lot attendants to direct traffic in all lots.
Vehicles parked illegally will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Warm ups
Wristbands must be worn by all participants and coaches at all times. No admittance into the Fieldhouse warm up area will be allowed without a wristband.
Please do not bring food or drink into the Fieldhouse. It is not allowed.
All coaches are responsible for getting their teams to the warm up and competition areas on time.
A coach must be present at all times when a team is practicing.
Beginning at 8 am SHARP, each team will be assigned a 5-minute practice time on a full size competition floor. Please check the schedule carefully. There will be no make-ups or time adjustments if you are late.
There will be three additional strip mats for warm up use along with the rest of the Fieldhouse area. There will not be assigned times for these areas. Please be courteous of other teams.
Please bring your own cd player for music use in the warm up areas.
Locker Rooms
Wristbands must be worn by all participants and coaches at all times. No admittance into the locker rooms will be allowed without a wristband.
Teams will be assigned locker rooms. Lockers will be available, but space is limited so encourage your athletes to share locker space.
No food or drink is allowed in the locker rooms.
Please bring a lock. Spirit Revolution and Stevenson High School are not responsible for lost or stolen items, so encourage your team to leave valuables at home.
Teams are required to keep their designated area of the locker room clean.
Teams will be held responsible for any damages to the locker room areas.
Participants
Wristbands must be worn by all participants at all times.
There will be two sessions. If another team from your school is performing you may enter and sit in the green bleachers to view just that performance. You must have a wristband on to enter.
Spectators
THE GYM WILL BE COMPLETELY CLEARED IMMEDIATELY AFTER EACH SESSION. If you wish to re-enter after Session 1, you will need to purchase another ticket. We apologize for the inconvenience but this is the only way we can assure seating for the size of the competition.
No saving seats during or between sessions. While the Gym is being cleared out between sessions, belongings must be taken with you. Anything left in the Gym will be removed and placed in the lost and found.

Ticket sales will begin at 7:30 am. The doors to the performance gym open will open at 8am. Admission is $5 for one session and $8 for two sessions. Children under the age of five, and seniors will be admitted free of charge. Bus driver’s with ID, and Athletic Director’s and Principals of performing teams with ID will also be admitted free of charge.
Please arrive at least one hour prior to your team’s performance to make sure you do not miss the performance if the competition is running ahead of schedule.
There will be televisions set up in the school and a big screen in the Wood Commons area where the competition can be viewed from outside of the gym.
Admittance into the Gym will not be allowed during performances.
Please be courteous to the participants and other spectators, and turn off cell phones prior to entering the Gym.
For the safety of all participants, flash photography will NOT be allowed in the Gym.
Concessions and Vendors
Food and drink will be available throughout the day starting at 7:30 am. Breakfast and lunch items will be available in the food court. No outside food or drink will be allowed in the building.
T-shirts ($15) and patches ($6) will be available for purchase. Cash or check only. Checks should be made out to Stevenson High School.

Vendors will be in the upper forum selling merchandise. Fun stuff, so check it out!
Good luck messages will be sold for $1 each. The messages will be read prior to each team’s performance. Please buy these early as we only allow eight announcements per team.
