Equity appointments are scheduled in five-minute intervals, and each Equity Member has three minutes to audition. Equity Members without appointments will be seen throughout the audition day as time permits. Please prepare material of your choice (including, if you wish, selections from the season’s repertoire). For those who wish to perform a scene, a reader will be available. Please be prepared to state your starting and stopping places. Sides will not be provided.
Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.
We will also be attending Stage Source AEA Auditions on April 9, 2017 from 10-6pm at ImprovBoston, located at 40 Prospect St, Cambridge, MA 02139. Equity Members have three minutes to audition. A quiet but intellectually forceful man. Good sense of humor. Represents Virginia. Sings ' But Mr. Adams', 'The Egg.’ Vocal Range: Baritone, C to G

A wealthy business man. Confident, outspoken and empathetic. Sings 'Cool, Cool, Considerate Men.’ Vocal Range: flexible

South Carolina aristocracy. Oozes confidence and cynicism. Represents South Carolina. Sings 'Molasses to Rum’ Vocal Range: C to A
JOHN DICKINSON (m or f, any age, any ethnicity): Leader of the conservative opposition to Adams. Sharp-tongued and formidable. Representative of Pennsylvania. Sings 'Cool, Cool, Considerate Men.’ Vocal Range: A to E.

COL. THOMAS MCKEAN (m or f, any age, any ethnicity): A rough-hewned Scott (with brogue) who’s seen many battles. Loud and Funny. Represents Delaware. Vocal Range: Bass Baritone, low C to Eb.
SAMUEL CHASE (m or f, any age, any ethnicity): Large,gentlemen with an insatiable appetite. Has a lot of grace and sweat.Represents Maryland. Vocal Range: Tenor, up to Ab.
ROBERT LIVINGSTON (m or f, any age, any ethnicity): A gracious diplomat. Droll. Is on the Declaration writing committee. Represents New York. Sings 'But Mr. Adams.’ Vocal Range: Tenor, Bb to F.
STEPHEN HOPKINS (m or f, any age, any ethnicity): Second oldest member of Congress, starts the day with a strong drink. Represents Rhode Island. Vocal Range: C to Eb.
ANDREW MCNAIR (m or f, any age, any ethnicity): The Congressional custodian. Earthy, plain-speaking with a wry sense of humor. Sings 'Mama Look Sharp.’ Vocal Range: Light Baritone, low Bb to Db (just above middle C).
COURIER (m or f, any age, any ethnicity): The message runner between General George Washington and the Continental Congress. Has seen a lot of war for his young age. Sings 'Mama Look Sharp,’ Vocal Range: C to Db.
