In this document, we present the guidelines for the abstract preparation for the UCL Interplatform Workshop on Nanotechnology, to be held in Louvain-la-Neuve on Friday 29January 2016. The abstracts provided by the participants will be directly inserted in the abstract book.

The maximum length of the abstract is one page, including tables, figures and references. The abstract should be in A4 format.

Please follow the template (available on the scientific day’s web page) for the structure of the abstract, formatting its elements (including capitalizing the title), spacing between them etc. Use superscripts for relating authors to multiple affiliations.

Figures can be included in the abstract. The abstract book will be print in black and white, so please, prepare your figures accordingly.

The simplest way to prepare your abstract is to replace the text in this template with your own text. The entire document has to be typed in Times New Roman. The typeset is 14pt bold for the title, 12pt bold for the authors list (please, underline the presenting author) and 12pt italic for the affiliation list. The main text is typed in 11pt normal text. The references have to be typed in 9pt normal text as shown below. Please cite the references in the text as [1,2].
