Class Prefects
Morning Assembly
1)Prefects to be in front (P3 & 4) or beside (P5 & 6) their class the moment they arrive in school.
2)Make sure pupils are seated in 2 straight lines. Ask the next class to shift a little for your class if pupils do not have enough space to sit.
3)Do not allow pupils to reserve seats for their friends or leave gaps in between.
4)Help to maintain discipline at all times.
5)Bring pupils back to class after assembly together with subject teachers. Please help to look after the back of the class if subject teacher is walking in front and vice versa.
Friday Assembly Period
1)Please sit with the class you are looking after.

1)Before 7am, prepare flags.
2)From 7 - 7.10am, Vice Head prefects to take charge of one level each. Help prefects-in-charge of classes to manage their classes.
3)7.10am onwards, prepare for flag raising ceremony.
4)Led in National anthem, pledge taking and school song.
5)Make announcements.

Gathering of Late-comers
Prefects-in-charge of the gates
1)Pupils are considered late when they are not seated by the time we begin with the flag-raising ceremony.
2)Record the time pupil arrives on a slip of paper. Ask the pupil to hold on to it. Prefects-in-charge of the file will collect it from them.
3)Usher pupils to the front of the parade square and get them seated.
4)Those who arrive from Gate 1 are to be seated at the foyer. Please usher them to the front after teacher start dismissing the classes.
5)Please stay at the gates until classes are dismissed from the assembly area.
Prefects-in-charge of the file
1)Update file daily.
2)Use a different coloured pen for each term.
3)Write the date + time pupil arrived in school (based on the paper written by the prefect on duty at the gates).
4)Pass the list of names to the security guard.
5)Once a pupil is late for the 4th time, pass the file to Ms Tan.
6)Otherwise fileisto be handed in for checking at the end of each month.

Morning Duty – Corridor at parade square
1)At about 7.05am, start asking pupils who are still standing along the corridor of the parade square to join their classes.
2)Do not allow them to wait for their friends by the side.
3)Play the role of the peacemaker when there are arguments on who to join the line first. The one that reaches earlier should move in first.
4)Once teacher on duty makes the announcement for pupils to get ready for assembly, you may join back your form class.

Morning Duty - Canopy
1)Do not allow any pupils to run or play in the Canopy.
2)Make sure that pupils keep the tables and benches clean. Ask pupils to return their plates to the respective stalls if they leave them on the table.
3)If anyone spills any food or drink, politely ask one of the uncles in the canteen for help to clean it up.
4)Patrol the canteen to ensure that the place is litter-free.
5)Once the teacher rings the second bell, make sure that all pupils finish their food fast and make their way back to their classrooms.

Recess Duty - Staircases
1)Prefects to work in pairs at each staircase.
2)One prefect takes the first half of recess while the other takes the second half. Rotate each week. Be considerate. Please be punctual.
3)Only pupils who have the permission to meet teachers are allowed to pass.
4)Allow pupils to go back to their classrooms only after the first bell.
5)Try not to eat at the staircase.

1)Prefects to work in pairs at each stall.
2)One prefect takes the first half of recess while the other takes the second half. Rotate each week. Be considerate. Please be punctual.
3)Make sure all pupils queue up to buy their food. Write down the names of those who insist of jumping the queue even after you have warned them not to.
4)Once the teacher on duty rings the second bell, do not allow pupils to buy any more food/drinks.
5)Go back to class only after the canteen is cleared.

1)Make sure pupils do not consume food or drinks there.
2)All pupils should be queuing up in the bookshop.
3)Make sure that there is no rough play in the field or service carpark.
4)Play the role of a peace-maker if there are fights and alert teacher on duty on serious matters that you cannot handle or if someone is hurt.
5)Pupils are allowed to play at the service carpark but please be vigilant. If for some reason the gate is open, inform the security / teacher on duty. Look out for any vehicles entering the carpark and warn pupils of possible dangers. Please be careful yourself.

1)Make sure pupils do not consume food or drinks there.
2)Make sure there is no rough play and cases of bullying.
3)Play the role of a peace-maker if there are fights and alert teacher on duty on serious ones that you cannot handle or if someone is hurt.
4)Get pupils to stop their games after teacher on duty rings the first bell.
5)Allow pupils to go back to their classrooms after the first bell.

1)Make sure pupils do not consume food or drinks there.
2)No ball games are allowed except badminton.
3)No Pokemon/Duel Master kind of card games is allowed.
4)Stop pupils from climbing dangerously at the Amphitheatre.
5)Pupils are not allowed to use their mobile phones. Inform teacher on duty in the canteen if pupils refuse to keep it.

1)Pupils are not allowed to play at the parade square or foyer.
2)Pupils are allowed to read or do their homework at the foyer but NO FOOD should be consumed there.
3)Make sure pupils queue up at the counter if they need to speak to the office staff.
4)Do not allow any pupils to run along the corridor or make a lot of noise at the General Office.
5)Pupils are allowed to go up to their classrooms by the 2 staircases only after the teacher on duty ring the first bell.

Recess Duty – Block A/B/C
1)You may start patrolling by 9.40am/ 10.40am. No pupils are allowed to stay in class unless there is a teacher with them.
2)Make sure all lights and fans in class are switched off. Inform the form teacher/s if fans/lights of a particular class are left on when no one is around.
3)Check the toilets occasionally. Make sure no one is up to mischief.

bus is moving.
