The Ohio Cemetery Association in conjunction with Matthews International is proud to announce the first OCA sponsored Crematory Operator Certification Seminar will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel , 5100 Upper Metro Place , Dublin , Ohio on August 15 2013. This 7 hour course is an educational program designed to raise the level of knowledge and understanding of the design , operation and maintenance of cremation equipment , as well as day to day crematory operations. Some of the topics covered are principles of combustion , cremation and the environment , cremator design & operation , recordkeeping , and handling , processing and packaging of cremated remains. Both new and experienced crematory operators will benefit from this comprehensive program. Registration fee is only $395.00 per person. Registration deadline : July 30 , 2013. Matthews Cremation Division, the leaders in Crematory Operator Certification are qualified and approved to train in all 50 States including States currently requiring certification. MCD certification is valid for 5 years from seminar date.
