Project Status Report – Periodic Progress Summary

Content: Firstly we studied all the previous work done related to our project i.e( we make literature review of our topic . then we studied the materials ,research papers books on the major components of the project . Then we searched for all the components that are required to make the device .we make a list of the material and made a survey to market for inquring the cost .then we did with the simulation part and started to test the device by implementing different circuits . We have tested microcontroller and motion sensors.

Bottom Line: our project consists of following modules :

  • GSM controlled security
  • Motion sensors
  • Message Generation on Hurdle Sensing

Right now we are done with the first to modules i.e ( gsm based security and motion sensors ) we have implemented and tested it’s functionality with our device .the car is now operating with mobile phone (dtmf) and also it is detecting hurdles with the ultrasonic sensor implemented in it . The simuations screen shot is given below :

Read the Research papers to know about the previous work done in this domain.

Designing, testing and Implementationthe circuits of dtmf and microcontroller with the device (car).

Simuationsrunnind environment.

Upcoming tasks for this period:

We are working on message generation by the GSM kit when hurdle is detected and also on implementation of wireless camera with our device.

It could be used from any where in the world with gsm availability.

We will show hardware i.e( all the things implemented in the car ) at the end.

Issues:

Till now we are facing problem in message genartion using GSM when hurdle is detected.

Also trying to resolve the probability issues with the movement of car.

Action Being taken by the team:

We are resolving the issue by testing it again and again on breadboard .Differnt circuits are tested and different codes are burnt to program it.
