Methodology
Introductory Activity
( 3 minutes)
This part introduces the lesson content. Although at times optional, it is usually included to serve as a warm-up activity to give the learners zest for the incoming lesson and an idea about what it to follow. One principle in learning is that learning occurs when it is conducted in a pleasurable and comfortable atmosphere. (Motivation) / Ø  Daily Routine
Ø  Game: Bring me!
Activity
( 7 minutes)
This is an interactive strategy to elicit learner’s prior learning experience. It serves as a springboard for new learning. It illustrates the principle that learning starts where the learners are. Carefully structured activities such as individual or group reflective exercises, group discussion, self or group assessment, dyadic or triadic interaction puzzles, simulations or role-play, cybernetic exercise, gallery walk and the like may be created. Clear instructions should be considered in this part of the lesson / Ø  The students will be group into 5 members and will select a leader, presenter, writer, time keeper and a cheerleader. They are given 2 minutes to read and understand information sheet number 1.1.1. After, they will be given time to write the important and difficult terms they encounter in the information sheet in the strips of paper. Once the students are done writing they will post their work on the board.
Ø  Answering Activity 1.1.1
Analysis
( 10 minutes)
Essential questions re included to serve as a guide for the teacher in clarifying key understanding about the topic at hand. Critical points are organized to structure the discussions allowing the learners to maximize interactions and sharing of ideas and opinion about expected issues. Affective questions are included to elicit the feelings of the learners about the activity or the topic. The last questions or points taken should lead the learners to understand the new concepts or skills that are to be presented in the next part of the lesson. / Ø  The group will present and share their ideas about the posted important and difficult terms they have identified in the information sheet 1.1.1
Ø  The teacher will discuss the topic and well help the students understand the importance of the terms they have posted on the board.
Ø  Cite personal experience how to choose tools and equipment
Abstraction
( 5 minutes)
The outlines the key concepts, important skills that should be enhanced and the proper attitude that should be emphasized. This is organized as a lecturette that summarized the learning emphasized from the activity, analysis, and new inputs in this part of the lessons. / To be answered by the students:
1. Will you buy a material which is less expensive yet poor in quality?
2. Will you buy a material a material not suitable for your present task or job?
3. What are the factors to be considered in choosing the right material before working in a specific job?
Application
( 10 minutes)
This part is structured to ensure the commitment of the learners to do something to apply their new learning in their own environment. / Ø  Perform Let’s Do This! 1.1.1
Assessment
( 15 minutes)
For the teachers to:
1.  Assess whether learning objectives have been met for a specific duration
2.  Remediate and/or enrich with appropriate strategies as needed.
3.  Evaluate whether learning intention and success criteria have been met.

Test
(Teachers set tests or quizzes to determine learners’ ability to demonstrate mastery of a skill or knowledge of content) / Skill Performance Test, Open-Ended Question, Practicum, Pen and Paper Test, Pre and Post Test, Diagnostic Test, Oral Test, Quiz / Ø  Skills Performance Test: Get Involve…1.1.1
Assignment
( 5 minutes)
Note: Fill-in any of the four purposes / Reinforcing /strengthening the day’s lesson
Enriching / inspiring the day’s lesson
Enhancing / Improving the day’s lesson
Preparing for the new lesson / Ø  Research on the procedures in ordering, purchasing and receiving materials
