JENSEN® Marine Introduces All-New Waterproof Marine Stereo with Full iPod/iPhone controls, USB drive and Weatherband
ELKHART, IN (April 26, 2011) – The time is right for boaters to upgrade their marine audio systems with the new, all-inclusive AM/FM, iPod, iPhone and SIRIUS Satellite Radio ready JENSEN marine stereo manufactured and designed by ASA Electronics, supplier of JENSEN Marine audio and video entertainment products. ASA is proud to offer the Marine industry the JENSEN JMS2212 with all its modern features providing boaters with all the audio entertainment options they want.
The 200 Watt JENSEN Marine JMS2212 stereo has every audio option from the tried-and-true to all the newest technologiesto entertain boating enthusiasts on all their excursions. Along with all the essential features of an AM and FM radio tuner, this stereo is SIRIUS Satellite radio ready for a plethora of radio channel options. In addition, it also features an auxiliary input jack for the iPhone® and iPod®, allowing users to hook up and play their personal music library while out on the water. The JENSEN JMS2212 is equipped with an USB input that provides the ability to play downloaded music files from a USB device such as jump or thumb drives.
Boaters will also have up-to-the minute weather and alerts at their fingertips with the JMS2212. It comes complete with NOAA Weatherband. This feature will broadcast a warning tone and automatically switch the stereo to the appropriate NOAA weather channel in the event of inclement weather. Boaters don’t have to worry about being caught in a storm again.
The JENSEN JMS2212 is waterproof, IPX6 rated with conformal coated circuit boards, to ensure that it will stand up against the wet marine environment. Other features of the JMS2212 that are worth noting include the positive LCD display, low battery audible warning, zero current memory draw and non-volatile memory forpre-sets and user settings.
