Mark Gaughan, Buffalo News: Bledsoe is going to collect $8.75 million this year from the Bills, according to figures obtained from the NFL Players Association. That's about $500,000 more than he was going to make under the terms of his old deal this year. It includes a signing bonus of $6.5 million and a base salary this year of $2.25 million, union figures show. His base salary in 2005 will be $3.3 million, and in 2006 it's $4.35 million. He also has $1 million roster bonuses in '05 and '06. So that's $18.5 million over three years. That's a $7 million reduction in what Bledsoe was scheduled to make for those three years under his original contract. His base- salary figures were going to be $6 million, $6 million and $6.5 million.
Mark Gaughan, Buffalo News: Bledsoe is scheduled to make $3.3 million in base salary this year [2005] and get a $1.05 million roster bonus. His total salary cap charge is $6.5 million.
