It is a matter of great pleasure that K.V. No. 4, Bathinda Cantt is bringing out its first Library Newsletter .

The Vidyalaya’s library activities have been an encouragement and a matter of interest to the students. It helps to inculcate the reading habits in the students as well as enhance their writing abilities.

The students of our Vidyalaya are enormously talented and there is no doubt that this Newsletter will be helpful in highlighting their potential in front of wider audience.

Under the guidance of Sh. Suresh Kumar, I/C Principal, K.V.No. 4, Bathinda Cantt., is introducing Library News Letter for the session 2016-17.
In order to inculcate reading habits among the students, different activities and innovations have been planned, so that they can take optimum benefit of the library.

The Library is the place where a large number of books on different subjects are kept. No school is considered complete without a library. Library is created and maintained to serve and support the educational activities of the school. Library plays a vital role and helps the school in achieving the educational objectives. Books play vital role in our life. They are the tools of learning.

Books are the best friends. A great book is the master spirit, which illuminates life. Man is known by the company he keeps but his intelligence is judged by the books he reads. It is very essential that the students should make the best use of these and always try to increase their knowledge by reading them.
