The fire alarm is just inside the main front door.

If there is no sign of a fire in that location, (ie a false alarm), you can silence the alarm and reset it using the red key which is in the kitchen broom cupboard, in the wall cabinet. Turn the red key in the slot and follow the instructions on the fire alarm to silence and reset it.

Water and Stop Tap
Each unit has an isolation valve in the bathroom or shower room. The stopcock for the building is in the cellar. This is locked for safety and may only be opened in emergency. In the cellar there are 2 taps, in event of uncontrollable leak turn off both taps, and also run several taps to help drain the supply, since the building is large there is much water in the system.

Hot Tub
Location:
The hot tub is located in the back garden and can be accessed via the first floor Emergency door, or via the ground floor back door. In consideration of the neighbours the Hot Tub may not be used between the hours of 9.30pm and 09.30am.
Safety:
Children must be accompanied by an adult at ALL times. No glasses may be taken into the Hot Tub and no food or drink must be allowed to contaminate the water.
Please ensure the Hot Tub is covered when not in use, the jets and blowers have been switched off and that the cover straps at the front are fastened to prevent access by young children.
The Hot Tub is maintained twice weekly normally on Monday and Friday. Therefore it is the responsibility of guests to make every effort to maintain the water quality by ensuring that they are clean before entering the spa.
The wearing of sun creams, body lotions, make up or oils will reduce levels of chlorine and sanitizers in the spa as will bodily fluids such as sweat. All will rapidly contribute to a reduction in water quality.
If the Hot Tub becomes dirty or contaminated in between maintenance days then it should not be used until it has been re-treated.
Hot Tub controls:
· The jets are operated (on/off) using the button on the control panel.
· The knobs on either side of the control panel aerate the jets.
· The large knob on the top/front of the tub alters the source of the jets i.e. Feet or body.
· Rotating the underwater jet knobs allows you to vary the pressure of the jets or turn on/off.
Please do not alter the water temperature which for comfort and safety reasons is set between 36 and 38C.
