In this journal, you will find a list of books to read for this year’s Reading Olympics. Following that is a page for each book so that you can write down important information that you might want to remember about that book for the competition in April. There are a lot of books, so the more you write down, the more you will remember at the competition.
In each section, write something about the setting, or the character, or whatever is at the top of the box… for instance instead of just writing a list of characters, write that…Amy Jones was the great teacher, Jack Smith worked on the computer all the time… little tidbits that you would like to remember about each thing.
Terrific Trivia is for little odds and ends that you find interesting along the way. If your particular book has historical facts, jot them down in the connections section, as there are often questions about connections to the real world.
