Regular Kickball

Objective: Score the most runs

Safety: Glasses optional, pay attention, pitching mound and bases most action\

Equipment:Ball and bases

Skills:Kicking, catching, throwing, running, decision-making

Touchdown

Objective: To catch any size or type of ball you decide to use. The students will try to move the ball up the field with consecutive passes. The goal is to reach the endzone with completed passes for a score. Following a score hand the ball to someone in your opponent’s endzone and play continues.

Rules:

An incomplete pass immediately results in the opponent’s ball.

A ball knocked out of bounds by the defense is still the defensive player’s ball because it was not a completed pass.

No moving with the ball (Pivot only), No air dribbles

Both feet must be in the endzone for the score to count

A minimum of 2 passes before a score,A maximum of holding the ball for 5 seconds

A violation of any rules results in your opponents getting the ball

Safety:Contact is not allowed

Benefits:Cardiovascular, agility, Eye hand coordination, speed

Options:

1. Zone the field with defense and offense

2. Girls guard girls only / boys guard boys

3. Girl must catch at least one of the passes before or on the score

4. Zone or player to player defense

Hocker

Object:To score in the goals by eitherbatting, slapping, currying, kicking, punching, pushing, rolling or soccer dribbles.The game starts with a square off in the center circle. A penalty kick is worth 1 point, while all other scores are worth 1 point. Penalty kicks result from body contact fouls. A kick in from out of bounds requires the defense to be at least 10 feet away.

Rules:

You are not allowed to hold or throw the ball

You can bat, scoop, or kick the ball to move it down the field

A ball kicked into the goal, or batted is worth 1 point

The goalie is the only player allowed to use his or her hands

Safety:Contact is not allowed
