By Signing below you agree:
As a consignor for the Kids Closet Sale you are agreeing to accept 60% on all items sold and principal will retain 40%. Unless otherwise noted ______Checks will be mailedwithin two weeksof the sale unless you pick it up during check out onThursday, March 15(schedule a pick up time between6 and 8pm)
· You will be permitted to shop at the Consignor Presale during posted consignor presale hours.
· You agree to bring item according to your schedule appointment made on website. The Kids Closet Sale reserves the right to refuse any item that does not meet the guidelines listed on the website.
· You are responsible for entering, pricing, tagging, and hanging your items.
· When entering your items, you will choose whether they are to be sold at half price (“discount”) and whether they will be donated should they not sell (“donate”). Your selections are final as of12 NoonMarch 11theSundayprior to the sale.
· Although The Kids Closet Sale friends and volunteers will do their best to ensure that items are not damaged or stolen during the drop-off, the sale, and the pick-up time, we will not assume liability for consignor’s items.
· The Kids Closet Sale isnot responsiblefor anythinglost, stolen or damagedduring this sale. You agree to hold harmless and make no claim against Danielle Andreas, The Kids Closet Sale, lesser or owner of the space where the sale is held, any volunteer or paid participants in The Kids Closet Sale, or the insurer of the Kids Closet Sale for the damage, theft, or loss of any items consigned to The Kids Closet Sale. The Kids Closet Sale does not anticipate any thefts, damage, or loss and takes every precaution to prevent them, but occasionally these events may occur. All goods left in the possession of The Kids Closet Sale are at the sole risk of the Consignor. Consignor agrees that it shall assume and bear all risks regarding consigned goods, and will hold The Kids Closet Sale exempt from any and all liability. Should items be lost, stolen or damaged, The Kids Closet Sale is not responsible to compensate the Consignor for the items.
· Consignor agrees that if unsold items are not picked upbyThursday, March 15th from 6-8:00pmthey will become property of THE KIDS CLOSET SALE.
· Consignor agrees that you have checked to make sure nothing you are selling has been recalled by checking it at our website.http://www.thekidsclosetsale.com/recall_finder.htm
· Consignor agrees that if you are not coming to pick up you check and have not brought a self addressed stamped envelope you will be charged $1.00 which will come off the total you receive in your check.
· Consignor agrees that if they volunteer as a worker and DO NOT show up WITHOUT any advance notice their commission rate will be lowered to 50% and the principal will retain 50%.
· Consignor agrees that if they volunteer as a worker and DO NOT show up WITH advance notice their commission rate will lower to the original agreement of 60% and the principal will retain 40%.
· Consignor agrees that if they volunteer as a worker and they show up more than 1 hour late for their work shift without advance notice their commission rate will lower to the base rate of 60% and the principal with retain 40%.
· Competition Clause:Consignor agrees that they will not imitate The Kids Closet Sale and open up a consignment event of their own within a 30 mile radius of this event. If they do, legal action will be taken.
