Responsible for technical and logistics for an average 225 yearly performances, public relations, advertising, and social media. As a touring musician and vocalist for an International recognized duo, Me & Martha are members of America’s Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame and appear on artist rosters of the Virginia Commission for the Arts and Young Audiences of Virginia. Certified Instructor for the Pete Wernick Jam Methods and conducts jam classes and workshops at various venue and music festivals. Don is a master bluegrass banjoist, thumb-picking guitarist and plays mountain dulcimer, autoharp, Dobro, mandolin, and bass fiddle. Since 2007, He has co-hosted weekly, free to the public Tuesday night bluegrass jams at James Madison University and Elkton Community Center.

With over 30 years of sailing experience, teaches sailing at all levels.
Teaches Captain/Master licensing courses through United States Coast Guard approved schools.

Responsible for all phases of physical and financial operations of Orono's only privately owned full service computerized desktop publishing, off-set printing, audio/visual/multi-media production and photocopying business. Auntie M's was a bi-monthly publication started in December 1990, with a circulation of 10,000 copies per issue distributed throughout the greater Bangor area to over 450 locations. Responsible for all phases of television, radio, and audio productions, national/regional/local spot and block media buys and syndication for a national marketing holding company with twenty-three separate businesses. Activities included: working with clients and outside agencies for advertising/public relations support, script writing and editing. Supervised a full time staff of 5 and free-lance crews as required. Also worked as the writer/producer/director for numerous national cable programs. Staff of 3-10.

Responsible for start-up, construction and operation of Philadelphia's second-largest independent television/audio production company. Implemented venture capital plan. Capital equipment and physical plant valued at $4.5 million. TI introduced computerized animation to the Philadelphia market. The production facility included a 30'x40' studio, state-of-the-art editing suites, field production and 8-track audio studios. Supervised a staff of 24 plus free-lance crews as required. Also worked as the producer/director for selected accounts. Staff 10.

Responsible for base building and facilities design for television studios, audio studios, and "rf" and baseband distribution systems for an international design firm. Clients served were in the top Fortune 100 companies.

Including public relation and advertising materials, instructional package design, equipment scheduling and delivery. SVMMMA is a Virginia based non-profit 501(c)(3) public trust corporation chartered in 2008 with a mission to: preserve, promote and maintain the integrity and roots of these great acoustic musics and their various configurations including: bluegrass, old-time string band, American fiddle/banjo traditions, Appalachian folk songs, gospel, and acoustic old-time country. Wrote successful project grants for Virginia Tourism Corporation and Virginia Council of the Arts.
All responsibilities for organizing and promoting the 2011 Oak Leaf Bluegrass & Mountain Music Festival held in Luray, Virginia to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the World’s 1st Bluegrass Festival. Festival featured 26 bands with an attendance of over 4000 and raised over $50k in private sponsorships. For 2014, organized and promoted the Hopkins Park Summer Music Series at Massanutten Resort. Secured local funding from private and public partnerships.

F.O.L.K. was an active member of the Greater Bangor Arts Council, organizes local venues for underserved music, and produced Mainely Bluegrass, a 26-part bluegrass music program. F.O.L.K. has also successfully worked with local organizations to secure grant funding to better serve the Waldo County community.
