General description

This desk lamp provides light from 2700 kelvin to 6500 kelvin (very warm tungsten to daylight white) in variable brightness. It has a fully pivoting head to angle the light where needed with an integrated USB socket, ideal for charging mobile phones at the back of the neck.

Items supplied

·  Lamp

·  Mains adapter with cable attached

Orientation

Place the lamp on a solid, level surface (e.g. table or sideboard) close to a socket. Make sure that it is not able to tip over and that the cable does not pose a trip hazard.

Unfold the lamp so that the light is upright and the head is in the desired position. On the base of the lamp in front of the stem, is a curved section. This has a different texture from the rest of the base; it feels very smooth. You can also feel the outer edge of this section. This section is all touch sensitive, controlling the power and brightness. Above this curved line, a centimetre above the centre point of the curve is a touch sensitive area that changes the colour temperature.

At the back of the unit is a round socket; this is where the power cable is inserted.

On the back of the neck towards the bottom is a USB socket; this is ideal for charging your phone using your existing USB cable.

Using the product

Plug the mains adaptor into an appropriate wall socket and insert the round power cable connector into the round socket.

On the base of the lamp locate the touch sensitive section. This should be pressed firmly so that changes cannot be made accidentally. Tap firmly the left hand side of this section to turn the light on. To change the brightness, slide to the right along the curved section to increase the brightness, and vice versa to decrease. To change the colour temperature, tap the touch sensitive section above the centre point of the curve. To turn off, press the left furthest point of the touch sensitive section firmly for at a second.
