“Lakefield Elementary Alumni Scholarship”

Lakefield Home & School realizes and wants to recognize the generosity of students and parents who have contributed to making Lakefield the school it has become. It is our hope that recipients of this scholarship continue to demonstrate the qualities that our community believes in; being supportive, service to others, and leadership.

Each year, two scholarships valued at $1,500 each, are available for attendance at any Post-secondary Institution: University, Community College or other accredited Post-Secondary Institution.

Students eligible to apply are any students who attended Lakefield Elementary School for one year or more during their elementary educational years.

Your application must be on the prescribed form and must be received by April 21, 2017. All criteria must be adhered to in order for the application to be reviewed.

Only monies awarded will be paid to the post-secondary institution on behalf of the recipient.

Ultimately, consideration will be given to graduation marks, community service, involvement in school based activities, and financial need.

You may wish to include artifacts that support your essay but we cannot guarantee their safe return.
