Christmas program to be performed by Sunnyvale Elementary Third Graders

Sunnyvale Elementary third grade students will present a Christmas program for the community. It will be the first ever program on our new stage!
What to do: There will be opportunities for the students to have special parts in the program: acting parts and solos. You MUST fill out the attached form and return to Mrs. Pickett (or your homeroom teacher) by Friday, September 28 if you want to be considered for an acting part or a solo. Actors will audition Thursday, Oct. 4. Solos will audition during your music class the week of October 29. Acting rehearsals will be every Thursday starting October 11. Please be sure you can commit to every Thursday for rehearsal before you audition for an acting role. Solos will practice during your music time at school.
Every child is important to this program. Every child in third grade will be a part of the chorus, even if they don’t want or get an acting part.
What to wear: Actors will need costumes, which will be the responsibility of the parents. You will be guided on what you need to furnish for your child. Basically, there are elves and pirates and a Santa Claus. The students in the chorus will wear T shirts and jeans. We will specify the color and where to get them.
