Successful trade fair appearance for Arburg at the Interplastica 2010

Medical technology application impresses trade visitors / Allrounder 420 C Golden Edition for cost-effective moulded part production

Lossburg. At the Interplastica in Moscow, Arburg impressively demonstrated the performance potential of its Golden Edition machine series with the cost-effective production of overcaps. The medical technology application on a hydraulic Allrounder 420C Golden Edition generated lively interest at the Arburg stand. On each day of the exhibition, numerous in-depth technical discussions were conducted with interested parties and customers.

"Although a slight reduction in the number of visitors was recorded in comparison to the previous year, it was possible to significantly increase the intensity of the discussions – particularly with potential customers", says Stephan Doehler, Arburg's European Sales Manager, evaluating the appearance at the Interplastica.Great interest was shown in the exhibit. The cost-effective production of medical moulded parts was demonstrated on a hydraulic Allrounder 420C Golden Edition with a clamping force of 1,000 kN and a size 290 injection unit.Equipped with a Schöttli 24-cavity mould and a full hot runner system, 0.58-gram PP overcaps were produced in a cycle time of about eight seconds.

High-tech machine for Russian production requirements

According to Stephan Doehler, the presented medical technology application clearly demonstrated the performance potential of the hydraulic Allrounder 420C Golden Edition."This machine series combines high-quality machine technology with an attractive price. This makes it ideal for cost-effective moulded part production and perfectly suitable for the requirements and prerequisites of the Russian plastics market.Consequently, particularly for the Allrounder Golden Edition, we see great sales opportunities within the Russian injection moulding industry."

Cost-effective production of moulded parts

The machines of the Golden Edition series feature fixed clamping force/injection unit combinations and technologically-superior standard equipment. This includes, for example, highly wear-resistant plasticising cylinders for a long service life, fast-switching valve technology for high control precision and consequently high moulded part quality.Furthermore, dual-pump technology permits simultaneous machine movements and the associated short cycle times. The central Selogica machine control system offers a high level of operating convenience.

Made in Germany – made by Arburg

The Golden Edition machines, like all Allrounders, are produced to the highest quality standards, exclusively at the Lossburg parent factory in Germany.Arburg’s consistent series production forms the basis for offering customers throughout the world modern, high-quality injection moulding technology “Made in Germany” at an unbeatable price/performance ratio.
