Congratulations on another completed season of volleyball. At this time of the year many of us are putting together our schedules for next season. Before you finalize your season plans, I would like to invite you to our Trinity Western University Annual Senior Girls Volleyball Classic that will be held on September 30 & October 1, 2011.

TWU ANNUAL SPARTANS SENIOR GIRLS

VOLLEYBALL CLASSIC

When:September 30 &October 1, 2011

Where: Trinity Western University, Langley Events Centre and local gyms.

Who:48 Senior Girls High School Teams from throughout BC and AB

Why: To provide an opportunity for high school senior girls’ volleyball teams to compete in a preseason tournament.

Merchandise: Local Sporting Goods Supplier may be on hand for teams or individuals to purchase merchandise. Group discounts are available.

Format:Round Robin pools of 4. Top two teams from each pool advance to the championship round. Remaining teams advance to the consolation bracket. All teams are guaranteed 4 or 5 matches. Round Robin- 2 games to 25 (no cap). Playoffs- 2/3 games to 25, 3rd game to 15 (no cap).

Officiating: Trinity Western’s varsity players. Teams must provide scorekeeper and 1 linesperson if possible.

Awards:1st and 2nd place awards

Tournament MVP, 6 allstar awards.

Hotels:Host hotel info will be circulated to interested teams.

Concession: Discounts at campus cafeteria available.

Hospitality:Most coaches rave about our hospitality room! Come see for yourself.

Medical: On site first aid staff will be available. Taping services available- please supply your own tape.

Rules:2010-11 Volleyball Canada Rules will be used. Also, 12 sub + libero will be allowed.

Entry Fee:$225 per team - Payable to Trinity Western University- Women’s Volleyball upon invoice.

Entry Form and Fee are due before June 30- Upon Acceptance.
