From Indiana Jones to Indian Dance, the Big Band Era to Elvis Tributes, Ballet to Baroque: Miller Outdoor Theatre announces the second half of a compelling 2010 season

HOUSTON―The Miller Theatre Advisory Board (MTAB) recently announced the Miller Outdoor Theatre 2010 Season Part II schedule. Miller Outdoor Theatre offers Houston’s diverse communities and visitorsa spectacular array of quality entertainment free of charge.

There’s something for everyone on stage at Miller Outdoor Theatre in Hermann Park. The performing arts schedule for the season includes drama, musical theater, traditional and contemporary dance, opera, classical and contemporary music and multicultural performances and festivals. From daytime programs especially for young children to family friendly evening performances, this is Houston’s best entertainment value. Admission is FREE!

Daytime performances (11 a.m. to noon) offer teachers and parents alike an excellent opportunity to expose youngsters to the delights of the performing arts with a series of productions designed especially for children. No tickets are necessary; seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Admission is free for all performances, but some evening shows ( ) require tickets for covered seating. For those performances, assigned seat tickets are available on the day of performance only between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the box office behind the theatre on a first-come basis, to those 16 years of age or older, while supplies last. A maximum of four tickets per person is allowed. Any remaining tickets are released one hour before curtain.
