Interpretation
- From what point of view is Fahrenheit 451 written? Is this the best choice of ways to write the story? Explain why or why not.
- If you were to rewrite Fahrenheit 451 as a play, where would you start and end each act? Explain why.
- What are the main conflicts in the novel? Are they resolved by the end of the book? If so, how? If not, why not?
- Bradbury has repeatedly used words relating to fire. Find as many examples as you can in the book, and explain the effect on his word choices on us, the readers.
- Why do you think Mr. Bradbury set his story in the city? In the story, what kinds of things happen in the city as opposed to the country?
- Describe Captain Beatty’s theory of how firemen began and why they were needed.

- Are Montag’s actions believably motivated? Explain why or why not.
