AURORA, IL, July 3, 2013 – Tickets go on sale today, Wednesday, July 3, for living Latin legend singer/songwriter Joan Sebastian, and accordionist and Norteño star Ramón Ayala, performing a double bill Friday, September 13 at 7 p.m. at the new RiverEdge Park, 360 North Broadway in downtown Aurora.

Tickets are $50 general admission; $95 reserved seating; and $125 Skydeck (includes food and drink.) Purchase tickets online at RiverEdgeAurora.com, via phone at 630.896.6666, or stop by the nearby Paramount Theatre, the satellite box office for RiverEdge, located at 23 E. Galena Boulevard, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday (excluding Thursday, July 4, Independence Day.) The RiverEdge box office is also open onsite any day that RiverEdge is hosting a concert or event this summer, starting at 10 a.m.

Gates open at 6 p.m. for this rare Chicago concert featuring the internationally renowned Sebastian and Ayala. This special event also serves as the big weekend kick off for Fiestas Patrias Aurora 2013, on Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15. Celebrating its new home this year at RiverEdge, Fiestas Patrias, sponsored by the Aurora Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, is the Fox Valley’s premier outdoor festival of Mexican culture, and features a variety of international music acts, folklorico dancing, exhibit booths and food vendors.

Four-time Grammy and 7-time Latin Grammy Winning singer/songwriter Joan Sebastian is bringing his music to Aurora. His dad gave him a transistor radio that picked up stations from Mexico to Nashville when he was 11-years-old. Since then, he’s written hundreds of songs and been on Mexican top-40 charts numerous times in a career that spans decades. Sebastian will be performing on his horse, El Padrino, in true Banda fashion!

RiverEdge Park is located directly across Metra’s Aurora Transportation Center, on the east bank of the beautiful Fox River. Almost all RiverEdge events allow folding chairs and bag chairs for general admission ticket holders. For preferred general admission bench seating, guests are encouraged to bring a padded seat cushion for added comfort. Food and drink are available for purchase inside RiverEdge Park. Concessions at RiverEdge offer a diversified menu from official food vendor Two Brothers Roundhouse, along with a bar featuring Two Brothers’ craft beers, Anheuser-Bush products, wine, sodas, bottled water and more. No outside food or drink (except water) are allowed in the park during events.
