Are you passionate about data and analytics and looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within an international fashion E-commerce company in the heart of Amsterdam? We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated BI intern who wants to work in an open and fast paced environment.

BESTSELLER is one of Europe’s largest fashion companies with a wide variety of brands, including VERO MODA, ONLY, SELECTED and JACK & JONES.From Amsterdam we support all BESTSELLER brands in growing and optimizing their E-commerce activities and you will be part of an open, dynamic and international environment, where every day brings new and interesting challenges.

As an intern in Business Intelligence you will be supporting the Product enrichment team in reporting tasks and working closely with the Master Data Development team. The team is in charge of all the product data for our E-commerce business and is constantly working to improve our operations and analyse our go-live product reporting.

Specific Job Responsibility

  • Work closely with stakeholders to build and run go-live performance reporting, not only in Excel but mainly in dedicated reporting tools
  • Effectively utilise all reports and reporting tools to secure delivery in line with agreed KPIs
  • Analyse Go live operation performance towards predefined targets and KPIs
  • Work closely with the team to clean data
  • Identify and advice ways to improve the reporting process to the Product enrichment manager

Desired Skills andExperience

  • You must be pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree or are recently graduated in related field (e.g. Economics, Business Analytics, Informatics, Marketing Intelligence, Finance, Mathematics or equivalent)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is must
  • Knowledge in SQL, Javascript skills, AWS Athena and/or Quick view is a great advantage
  • Confident in spoken and written English
  • Eager to learn, highly organized, date driven and able to easily shift priorities

Your profile

You are a strong communicator, with an eye for detail and eager to learn the basics within reporting and business intelligence. You are not afraid of doing manual tasks, and when doing so you are always looking for ways to improve the process.

Compensation and duration:This is a paid full-time internship, expected to run for 6 months from 1st of May
