15th Annual Goucher College Track and Field Classic

Facility Information: 8 lane Martin 200 surface. Only ⅛ and ¼ spikes should be worn on track, run-ways, javelin, high jump surfaces. The throwing surfaces are concrete. Timing for this meet only will be done by Finish lynx. Starting blocks will be provided. Results should be available for coaches after the meet and will be posted on our website.
Entry Fees: Each team will be charged $300.00. Men’s and Women’s teams are considered separate ($600.00). For teams with 10 or less individuals it will be $30.00 per person. Fees offset officials and timing fees! Please make all checks payable to Goucher College Track and Field. The entry Fee will be due on meet date.
Entry Procedures: 1) Entries will be done on Direct Athletics and the deadline for those entries will be Wednesday March 23. Once entries are submitted we will not be taking any additions in any of the races.
2) We plan on posting performance lists by Friday on our website at www.goucher.edu/athletics.
Starting Heights: Will be determined by the participants at check-in.
Locker Rooms: Showering and changing areas will be available. Please bring your own locks and towels.
Training Room: Training room staff will be available starting around 10:00 A.M. Please supply your own tape. For special training needs please contact Jean Knecht, Head Athletic Trainer at 410-337-6286.
Certification of Implements: All throwing implements will by weighed and certified. Those not making certification will be impounded until the end of the event.
The weigh-ins will take place at the track shed by the participant’s gates and check-in tent. Weigh-in will start at 9:00 am.
Team Awards: 1st Place team and runner-up will receive plaques to be presented at the end of the meet.
