Jim and Marian Lokey Art Scholarship

$1000.00 Scholarship –Awarded $500 1st semester / $500 2nd semester
This scholarship will be awarded to an Olton High School student who is enrolling full time in an institution of higher learning (two-year college, vocational school, university, or a not-for-profit online college) to pursue a career in an art related field. The scholarship will be sent directly to the scholarship office of the institution.
The scholarship will be based on the following criteria:
Applicant must be an Olton High School Senior with a 3.5 grade point average or above who intends to pursue a career in an art related field. Degree or certification plans can include but are not limited to the following: visual art, art education, graphic design, fashion design, or other art related program (see Mrs. Martin with any questions). Applicant must maintain a 3.2 grade point average to receive the second semester award. Scholarship recipient must submit Fall 2017 college grades & Spring 2018 course schedule before the second semester scholarship money will be awarded.
