* All City Schools 8th gradersare to submit an application for public high school (even if you plan to attend private school or another school district.) 8th grade school counselor Janet Fonda (Zorn) is your School Choice Liaison, your contact person for this process.School counselor Connie DuCroix is also available.
*Turn in your high school application to Ms. Fonda no later than Friday, December 20, 2013.

*Your high school choice process is an extremely important family decision! Be sure to have careful family discussions about your choices..Plan to attend the City Schools Choice Fair on Saturday December 7 from 9am-2pm at the Baltimore Convention Center. Ms. Fonda is also available for individual conferences by phone or in person – please call or email to schedule a time.
* On your application, list up tofive (5) choices in order of preference,with your first choice being the high school you would most like to attend. The application is available from Ms. Fonda or online at Each school’s profile page and website are listed in the “Middle & High School Choice Guide” (already given to all 8th graders and also viewable online).
* Write neatly. Parent/guardian signatureand student signatureand datemust be on the application before you submit it to me. Applications with any white-out/cross-outs/changes will not be accepted.
*If the home address that you place on your application does not match the address we have on file, parent/ guardian must provide two acceptable proofs of residence in their name before we canchange the address. High school assignment letters will be mailed (in March, 2014) to the address that is in the school computer.
