LOVE & COMPASSION
1 John 3: 18 (ESV) “18Little Children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth”.
I find myself habitually engaged in acts of love and compassion such as servanthood, forgiveness, prayer and gentleness to others

HUMILITY

PURITY
Ephesians 5: 3 (ESV) “ 3But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints.”
Purity does not mean I set myself apart from others whom I do not like, or whom I consider sinful, because I am a sinner saved by grace. However have I yielded myself habitually to be pure in thought and purpose, speech, heart, companionship with others

FAITH
Hebrews 11 : 6 (ESV) “6And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.”
Faith in God is demonstrated in at least these 4 areas:
-Obedience to God : Word and a life which demonstrates my trust and obedience to God
-Seek and wait for God’s guidance in life’s decisions
-Having less anxiety and trusting God to provide
-Be more sensitive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, through Word and prayer, and the faith to implement these promptings

PATIENCE & SELF-CONTROL

The following attitudes and actions help us to grow in patience and self-control:
-Not complain when I don’t get my way
-Accept what cannot be changed
-Not to do the opposite of patience and self-control (like having quick temper, complaining, nagging and gossip)
-Use my time and resources wisely in accordance to God’s will

CONTENTMENT
1 Timothy 6: 6 -7 (ESV) “ 6Now there is great gain in godliness with contentment, 7for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world.”
Contentment is the attitude of accepting whatever God provides, and rejoicing with it. Thus, am I contented in areas of my physical feature, family, relationships, finances and job or my status in life.

Thankfulness to God helps me to remember that God is both great and good. Thus do I demonstrate thankfulness to God in the following:
-My daily activities such as walking, breathing and eating
-Every gift from God such as family, friends, and position in life
-The way God is shaping me or the trials of life
-My salvation, calling and ministry in the Lord
