CANDIDATE NOMINATION FORM

as a member of the Young Tourism Network, nominate myself as a candidate for election to the Committee of Management from August 2015 – August 2017. I will, if elected, undertake the following minimum tasks for the period of my election:

§  Attendance at YTN Committee of Management meetings (to be held approx every 6-8 weeks)

§  Willingness to undertake all duties as required which may result in out of hours commitment

§  Promotion of network to industry and potential members

§  Decisions on updating plans and processes as necessary

§  Decisions on the activities of the network to be discussed with all committee members and decisions made on task allocation as a group

§  E-news articles; suggestions and writing them when required

§  Attendance at, and assisting with, Social and Professional Development events

§  Writing of proposals for industry partnerships when applicable

§  Meetings with prospective partners when applicable

RULES FOR NOMINATION

1.  All nominations must be seconded by another Young Tourism Network Member to be valid for consideration

2.  All nominations must be received by the Secretary, Young Tourism Network by 5pm Wednesday. 12 August, 2015

4.  Nominations can be sent by mail to Ellana Katos , VTIC, 486 Albert St, East Melbourne, VIC, 3002

Note: Mail should be sent with sufficient time to ensure it arrives at the mail box prior to 5pm on Wednesday 12 August, 2015
