ALDEN 32 V
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
A light viscosity premium quality grade of hydraulic fluid with a very high viscosity index.
Consists of solvent refined mineral oils, a multifunctional additive system, viscosity index
improver and a pour point depressant.
SPECIAL FEATURES
Alden 32 is a premium quality grade of hydraulic fluid conforming to an ISO VG 32
viscosity specification.
The inclusion of the viscosity index improver provides the hydraulic fluid with very good
temperature - viscosity characteristics to minimise the effects of temperature change on fluid
viscosity.
CROWNPRESS 32V exhibits the following special features:-
• Based upon high quality solvent refined mineral oils with low aromatic carbon content.

APPLICATIONS
CROWNPRESS 32V is suitable for use where an ISO VG 32 grade of hydraulic oil is specified
and where the variation of viscosity during operation must be minimised.
Typical applications are in precision machine tools and plant where viscosity change is
undesirable. It is also useful in older hydraulic equipment where malfunction can occur due to
loss of viscosity when the fluid is hot.
Note: Due to this product containing zinc it is NOT SUITABLE for use in systems containing
silver or silver plated bearings.

Kinematic Viscosity @ 100°C (IP 71, BS 2000 Pt. 71) : 6.95 mm2/s
Viscosity Index : 140 min.
Specific Gravity : 0.872
Flash Point (PMCC) (IP 34, BS 2000 Pt. 34 ASTM D93) : 190°C min.
CA Value : 10% max.
Pour Point (IP 15, BS 2000 Pt. 15) : - 10°C max.
